The Pankhurst Memorial Library now has six new patron computers as well as four staff computers. These computers were made possible through generous donations and fundraising. The computers will be open to the public beginning Monday April 21, 2014. Everyone must have a new consent form signed and those under 18 needs to have parent/guardian’s permission to use the computers. If you have any questions contact the library at 815-857-3925
The Library will be closed August 24, 2013 for Amboy Depot Days. The Library will reopen on Monday August 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
We are in need of 1/2 gallon plastic milk jugs for summer reading! If you have any milk jugs please bring them by the library! Thank you!

Pankhurst Memorial Library is gearing up for Read Smore Books, a camping themed Summer Reading Program. The program is for children in preschool-4th grade. The schedule for each class is as follows:
Preschool: Tuesdays July 9, 16, 23, 30 from 1:30-2:30 PM
K-1st Grade: Wednesdays July 10, 17, 24, 31 from 1:30-2:30 PM
2nd-4th Grade: Thursdays July 11, 18, 25, & August 1 from 1:30-2:30 PM
Please sign up your child by Monday June 24, 2013!

On October 31, 2012, the Pankhurst Memorial Library will host a Halloween Party from 5:30PM to 7:00PM! Everyone is invited to attend. There will be games, activities, and contests. We hope to see you there. (This program is made possible by the Amboy Civic Organization)
